Lewis Stone (November 15, 1879 – September 12, 1953).
Lewis Stone was an American film actor. He spent 29 years as a contract player at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and was best known for his role as Judge James Hardy in their Andy Hardy film series. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1929 for The Patriot.
Donna Reed appeared with him in the motion pictures The Courtship of Andy Hardy (1942) and The Bugle Sounds (1942).
