Cavalcade of Stars was a variety series that aired on the DuMont Television Network and was later renamed The Jackie Gleason Show. It was broadcast live in front of a theater audience and offered the same kind of vaudevillian entertainment common to early television revues.
Donna Reed appeared on the show, along with Cecil B. DeMille, Adolph Zukor, Walt Disney, William Holden, Jane Wyman, and Mary Pickford.
