Peter Lawford (September 7, 1923 – December 24, 1984).
Peter Lawford was an English-American actor, producer, and socialite, who lived in the United States throughout his adult life.
Lawford was signed to a long-term contract with MGM in June 1943. The studio signed him with a specific role in mind as a young World War II soldier in The White Cliffs of Dover (1944).
MGM gave him another important role in The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945), in which he appeared with Donna Reed.
Lawford was a member of The Rat Pack, an informal group of entertainers during the 1960s that included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Joey Bishop.
