Ida Lupino (February 4, 1918 – August 3, 1995).
Ida Lupino was an English-American actress, singer, director, and producer, recognized as one of the leading female filmmakers of the 1950s within the Hollywood studio system. Over her 48-year career, she acted in 59 films and directed eight, mainly working in the United States, where she gained citizenship in 1948.
She directed over 100 television episodes across various genres, such as westerns, supernatural stories, sitcoms, murder mysteries, and gangster tales.
Lupino directed one episode of The Donna Reed Show - "A Difference of Opinion" (Season 2, Episode 13).
