Cavalcade of America is an anthology drama series sponsored by the DuPont Company. It first aired on radio from 1935 to 1953 and subsequently on television from 1952 to 1957. Cavalcade of America portrayed historical events through narratives of personal bravery, initiative, and accomplishment, frequently featuring uplifting dramatizations of the human spirit's victory against adversity. The series aimed to enhance DuPont's public image following World War I.
