Leslie Nielsen (February 11, 1926 – November 28, 2010).
Leslie William Nielsen was a Canadian actor, comedian, and producer. With a career spanning 60 years, he appeared in more than 100 films and 150 television programs, portraying more than 220 characters.
Donna Reed appears with him in the film, Ransom (1956). Reviews were not favorable. Variety compared the film to the television versions and had little to say in favor of the former. Of the performances, "the direction fails to get much out of Miss Reed that can be felt and most of the other players, too, seem at odds with the characters they play."
