Kathleen Freeman (February 17, 1919 – August 23, 2001).

Kathleen Freeman was an American film, television, voice actress, and stage actress. In a career that spanned more than 50 years, she portrayed acerbic maids, secretaries, teachers, busybodies, nurses, and battle-ax neighbors and relatives, almost invariably to comic effect. In film, she is perhaps best remembered for appearing in 11 Jerry Lewis comedies in the 1950s and 60s.

Kathleen plays the riotous neighbor, Mrs. Wilgus, in four episodes of The Donna Reed Show. She appears in “Jeff’s Double Life" (Season 1, Episode 16); “Love Thy Neighbor” (Season 1, Episode 22); “The Grateful Patient” (Season 1, Episode 32); and “The Combo” (Season 6, Episode 17).

Kathleen was a frequent presenter at the Donna Reed Festival held in Denison, Iowa.
