Howard McNear (January 27, 1905 – January 3, 1969).
Howard Terbell McNear was an American stage, screen, and radio character actor. He is best remembered as Floyd Lawson, the barber on The Andy Griffith Show.
He made two guest appearances, along with Kathleen Freeman, on The Donna Reed Show in "Love Thy Neighbor" (Season 1, Episode 22) and "The Grateful Patient" (Season 1, Episode 32).
