You are now in Seneca Falls...or is that Bedford Falls
Even though the all-time holiday classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” was filmed entirely in California, Seneca Falls, NY, just two hours east of Buffalo, will definitely have you double-taking.
In fact, there has long been speculation that the town inspired key scenes in the film and Bedford Falls itself. It all started when the film’s director, Frank Capra, made a stop to get his haircut in Seneca Falls on his way to visit an aunt in Elmira in 1945. Or, so the story goes.
